A fall affecting the abdomen can rapidly become a life-threatening situation, since there may be internal bleeding. This is difficult to identify: Signs of shock and the onset of pain in the abdomen should be taken very seriously. Here, urgent hospitalization is necessary to save the injured person’s life.
